英会話マンツーマン

本日、教科書の全22ユニットが完了しました。2008年9月25日～2009年10月14日に週1回40分のマンツーマンレッスンを53回繰り返しました。

シェーンでは難易度が7段階に分かれていて、ELEMENTARYは4番目でした。次は3番目のPRE-INTERMEDIATEになります。

実際に簡単な英会話はできるようになりました。現在形よりも未来、過去、過去分詞のほうがよく使うかもしれません。今まで何回習ってもピンとこなかったLとRの発音も、すぐに使い分けられるようになりました。

「A Country I am interested in is the USA.」
「I have a plan to go to Daikanyama.」
「I bought a tumbler that only this shop sells.」

今までよりも少しだけ複雑な文も作れるようになりました。

また、次のPRE-INTERMEDIATEのテキストにあるUNITを下記にまとめてみました。ELEMENTARYで既に習った文法を応用するUNITもあるようです。

I quite like drinking tea at the ritz.	reallyとquiteでlikeの意味を変更
How often do you eat junk food?	副詞と熟語で頻度を表現

Could you get me another drink?	can、could、wouldを使った要望
Have out the washing, please.	out、up、on、off、downを使った句動詞

The bigger the better.	比較級と最上級の形容詞
Round up the usual suspects.	more＋比較級＋thanの応用
How do I get to central station?	道順の教え方と答え方
Take the central line.	電車の乗り方
What are you doing these days?	天気とお世辞で使うisn't it?
The enjoyed the last lesson, didn't you?	同意や確認で使う疑問文
